Following AMC's announcement that The Walking Dead has officially been renewed for a fourth season, FOX International Channels confirmed that they will continue to handle the global release of the show:

Following AMC's season 4 renewal of The Walking Dead, FOX International Channels (FIC) is excited to confirm the global pick up of the show for a 4th season. FIC will follow its global release model as in previous years.

Sharon Tal Yguado, EVP Original Development and Scripted Programming, said: "We are thrilled about a forth season and support Glen's and AMC's mutual decision. We are confident the show will continue with outstanding and compelling storytelling. The Walking Dead is a rare cultural phenomena that speaks to the entire world and has a massive audience globally regardless of age, sex or ethnicity. It has a life of its own."

---------

It's still too early for airdates, but mid-October for the US and late October/early November globally seems likely if the show follows Season 3's release strategy. In case you missed the big news from earlier today, Glen Mazzara will be stepping down as showrunner after the third season.
