Eli Roth went off to shoot The Green Inferno early last month in the Amazon and announced that filming has just wrapped. Along with the news, Roth posted a new photo from the set with him and some of the cannibals from the movie.

The Green Inferno was written by Eli Roth and Guillermo Amoedo, and follows ”a naive group of student activists from New York City who travel to the remote jungles of Peru, where they plan to stage a protest, but instead encounter a tribe of cannibals."

There are no release details yet, but here is the list of actors you'll see in the film: Daryl Sabara (Spy Kids), Kirby Bliss Blanton (Project X), Lorenza Izzo (Aftershock), Ariel Levy (Aftershock), Aaron Burns, Magda Apanowicz (Caprica), and Sky Ferreira.

This will be the first feature  film for Eli Roth since 2007′s Hostel: Part II and we’re excited to see him back in the director’s chair. He recently spoke about getting ready to film in a remote village off of the Amazon river and you can read more about that at:  http://dailydead.com/eli-roth-talks-the-green-inferno/
