With so many movies being chopped for a PG-13 rating, its newsworthy to let everyone know that Fright Night will officially receive an R-rating for ""bloody horror violence, and language including some sexual references". I think everyone was under the impression that the remake would be PG-13, even after the trailer release.
You may still be unsure the fact that Fright Night has been remade, but at least we know that the director hasn't had his film cut up for a family-friendly audience, as is often the case. Starring Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant and Imogen Poots, the new Fright Night will be in theaters on August 19th.
