Frankenstein's Army recently made its US premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival and MPI Media Group announced that they plan to give the movie a limited theatrical release in July:

"New York, NY (May 2, 2013) - MPI Media Group today announced that it will openwriter-director Richard Raaphorst’s FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY in select cities July 26th.  The highly anticipated film, which recently screened to acclaim at the Tribeca Film Festival, is a co-production of MPI/Dark Sky Films, Los Angeles-based XYZ Films and Pellicola of Amsterdam.

Filmed in Prague and recently having its World Premiere at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY marks the feature debut of Dutch director Richard Raaphorst, and has already received high critical acclaim.

FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY is the latest addition to MPI/Dark Sky Films acclaimed original high-end genre productions. The Company was also behind highly praised genre films such as Ti West’s The Innkeepers and The House of the Devil , Adam Green’s Hatchet II and upcoming Hatchet III, the upcoming Late Phases and also Jim Mickle’s Stake Land."
