Viewers of AMC's The Walking Dead know prolific makeup guru Greg Nicotero as both a special effects makeup artist and a director on the show, and some know that Nicotero places zombified Easter eggs in certain episodes. Nicotero discusses this practice in "Inside KNB FX", a bonus feature included on The Walking Dead Season 4 Blu-ray / DVD that comes out later this month.

As Nicotero reveals in this clip, he's had walkers made to look like characters from films he admires or has worked on, including Flyboy from Dawn of the Dead (1978), the witch-like woman in Black Sabbath (1963), Jack's decaying and chatty corpse in An American Werewolf in London (1981), and the iconic zombie "Bub" from Day of the Dead (1985). This bonus feature is included on both the Blu-ray and DVD releases of The Walking Dead Season 4, which comes out on August 26th. We have the clip and full details on all bonus features:
