Although rumored, this is still a nice surprise for horror fans. It was revealed today that the next playable character DLC for Mortal Kombat is none other than Freddy Krueger. We have more details and a gameplay video for you to check out.
Available on August 9th, Freddy will be available as DLC on Xbox Live (400 Pts) and the Playstation Network ($4.99). The only odd thing about release is that the character skin looks to be Freddy from the new film and not the original series.
