From Afterlife with Archie and Jughead: The Hunger to Vampironica and Blossoms 666, Archie Comics has given adult horror fans plenty to enjoy in recent years, but they also have never stopped providing family-friendly frights in their digest comics.

With another Halloween season upon us, we're thrilled (and chilled) to once again team up with Archie Comics to provide Daily Dead readers the weekly treat of exclusive previews from their Halloween-themed digest comics, beginning with Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #307!

Along with a two-page look at the new story "Cemetery Situation" (written by Francis Bonnet with art and letters by Rex Lindsey and colors by Glenn Whitmore), we also have the reprint of George Gladir and Dan DeCarlo's story "The Cat Girl" (a rare tale featuring two characters not from the main Archie gang) that you can read in its entirety ahead of the digest's September 14th release!

In addition to our exclusive preview, Archie Comics Editor-in-Chief Mike Pellerito teased the frightful fun that readers can expect to find within the pages of Archie digest comics this Halloween season:

"There are three enormous seasons for Archie fans: summer, Christmas, and, more than ever, Halloween! Especially with the classic Archie titles; people often hand out Archie digest comics to trick-or-treaters instead of candy.

Archie Comics has always had fun with the themes of Halloween, and this year's new stories are no exception. Monsters, aliens, scary campfire tales, Bettty and Veronica costume parties; these have all been staples of the comics since they first began, and with all that free candy, even Jughead is happy. And don't forget witches! With Sabrina, we have the best witch ever, and we continue to add to her cast of characters. Have fun this spooky season!"
