Daily Dead readers have seen plenty of our coverage for the BBC zombie series, In The Flesh, and have been asking for US release details. Today, BBC America revealed when the series will be released Stateside. In The Flesh was developed by Dominic Mitchell and shows us a world where zombies are rehabilitated back into society:

"The series follows zombie teenager Kieren Walker and his reintegration back into both the local community and the heart of his family. After his suicide four years ago, his friends and family thought they’d never see Kieren again. But then, shortly after his funeral, thousands rose from the dead; and after months of re-habilitation and medication, the zombies, now known as PDS (Partially Deceased Syndrome) sufferers, are gradually being returned to their homes. When Kieran returns, he is forced to confront his family, the community that rejected him, and haunting flashbacks of what he did in his untreated state."

In The Flesh was directed by Jonny Campbell and stars Luke Newberry, Ricky Tomlinson, and Kenneth Cranham. All three episodes have already aired in the UK, and BBC America announced that the first episode will premiere in the US on August 3rd at 10:00pm. We've included the previously released trailers below, for those that missed them last month.
