If you're staying in for Valentine's Day, AMC has a special treat for Walking Dead fans tonight. You may have caught the black & white version of The Walking Dead's first episode that was previously released, and AMC will begin airing black & white versions of Seasons 1 and 2 episodes every week:

"The Walking Dead fans are a lucky bunch. Not only is their favorite show back with all-new episodes, but now they have the opportunity to watch previous episodes in a whole new way: Starting this Thu., Feb. 14, AMC will begin airing episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 of The Walking Dead in black-and-white -- mirroring the format of Robert Kirkman's Eisner-winning comic book series. It all begins this week with Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 1. Then, every following Thursday at 8/7c new episodes will air leading into AMC Real Original Thursdays."

We've included the release schedule from AMC and THR, but you'll notice that it doesn't include all of season 2. We're not sure if there will be a break after episode 206, but we'll keep readers posted. Until then, here are the initial air dates:

In other Walking Dead news, we thought fans of Steven Yeun would be interested to see a zombified version he shared with us from the new Dead Yourself App:  https://twitter.com/steveyeun/status/299963169223352320

Now with the Dead Yourself App for iPhone and Facebook, you can do just that.... Your undead doppelganger awaits at DeadYourself.com."
