After appearing in Comic-Con's schedule yesterday, I can now officially announce that I'll be a panelist on the Zombies in Pop Culture panel on Thursday, July 18th. With guests that include Max Brooks and Matt Mogk, we'll be discussing the ever-increasing zombie craze:

"Max Brooks (Zombie Survival Guide, World War Z), Matt Mogk (Zombie Research Society), Steven Schlozman (The Zombie Autopsies), Scott Kenemore (Zen of Zombie, Zombie Ohio), Aaron Sagers (Journalist and TV host), Bradley Voytek (neuroscientist), and Jonathan James (DailyDead.com) discuss why zombies are so popular today. Join this expert panel for a Q&A session covering everything from the origin of the modern zombie to the deep-rooted fears it represents."

The panel will be taking place at the San Diego Convention Center as part of this year's Comic-Con. We're expecting a packed house, so please arrive early if you want a good seat. The panel is scheduled for 7:00pm – 8:00pm in Room 7AB on Thursday, July 18th. If you're planning on attending, definitely stick around and say hello.

I'll be at Comic-Con for the entire event and would love to meet up with our readers that will be there. We'll have ten contributors from Daily Dead helping us out with Comic-Con coverage and we're looking for any additional help we can get. Whether you want to help with coverage or just meet up during the show or an evening event, send me an email.

For those that can't make it to San Diego later this month, we plan on recording the panel and will have it online as part of our Comic-Con coverage.
