The dead will not rest in a small Alaskan town on the new SYFY series Ghost Wars. With a cast that includes Vincent D'Onofrio and Meat Loaf, Ghost Wars had a paranormal presence at Comic-Con this past week, and SYFY has now revealed the first trailer online.

"Ghost Wars is set in a remote Alaskan town that has been overrun by paranormal forces. Local outcast Roman Mercer (Avan Jogia) must overcome the town’s prejudices and his own personal demons if he’s to harness his repressed psychic powers and save everyone from the mass haunting that’s threatening to destroy them all.

The 13-episode, hour-long drama will premiere in the U.S. on SYFY this fall and elsewhere globally on Netflix in 2017."

The series stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Kim Coates, Avan Jogia, Kandyse McClure and Meat Loaf. Simon Barry serves as the creator/showrunner, while the show is written and executive produced by Dennis Heaton. Chad Oakes and Michael Frislev are also both on board as executive producers.
