Robert Kirkman promised some big changes to the world of The Walking Dead after the Something to Fear story arc wraps up. We'll see what he has in store for us when The Walking Dead #103 is released on October 17th, but until then, take a look at the issue cover art and a plot teaser released by Image Comics.

Synopsis: It is a new beginning for THE WALKING DEAD. Rick Grimes is no longer in charge, and nothing will ever be the same again. It's such a perfect jumping on point, it could easily have been a new first issue - but instead, the world's best selling creator-owned comic just keeps moving forward, with #103 and counting!

  1. Shaun Curtis says:

    So 1 of 2 possibilities I see:

    1. Rick is about to get his skull crushed by Negan. (Story continues with Carl or another main character)
    2. Rick is being Knighted (initiated) into Negan’s group.

I see more the second, due to Rick’s pose.  On one knee, almost bowing to his new leader.  I hope this arc pays off…not liking it so far.   Still think they need to go back to a city and work on cleaning out major landmark whether its a hospital or stadium and set up a new colony of survivors.

  2. This is not going to work out for Negan, he is fucked. It is a comic book. The good guys will save the day. But it would be bad ass if Kirkman had the balls to kill all our friends and follow Negans crew for a while.
