Horror, comedy, and mortality come together once again in the second season of the web series 20 Seconds to Live, which recently launched its second season after a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Below, you can watch the two new episodes of 20 Seconds to Live, and keep an eye out for a new episode every Friday in October on the show's YouTube channel. To learn more about the web series, visit its official website.

"The award-winning horror/comedy web-series co-created by director Ben Rock (Alien Raiders) and writer Bob DeRosa (Killers) is known for its killer hook: every episode features a new set of characters and when a 20-second timer counts down to zero, someone dies! Figuring out who gets it and how is much of the fun.

The first season played nearly twenty web and film festivals around the world and won multiple awards including Best Web Series at the Nashville International Film Festival, Best Horror at Hollyweb Festival, and Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror at Berlin Webfest.

After making their first season on a shoestring budget, Rock and DeRosa conducted a successful Indiegogo campaign and raised enough funds to create four ambitious new episodes. “Having a budget to work with for this season has been a blast,” said Rock. “It’s really given us the opportunity to let our imaginations run wild.”

This season’s all-star cast includes Billy Gardell (Mike & Molly), Jonathan Mangum (co-host on Let’s Make A Deal), Devin Sidell (Rob Zombie’s 31), Joe Fria (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2), and John Berchtold (Manhunt: Unabomber).

Joining Rock and DeRosa behind the scenes are producer Cat Pasciak (Atari: Game Over), co-producer Rebecca Larsen (Scream of the Bikini), director of photography George Feucht (SiREN), composer Jonathan Price (Ouija House), with special make-up and gore effects by Jason Collins & Autonomous F/X (Stan Against Evil).

Last year, Rock and DeRosa co-wrote Video Palace, the first original horror podcast from SHUDDER (which Rock also directed), and the duo recently sold a horror audio drama to Audible Originals. “We’re having a great time playing in all these new horror universes, “ said DeRosa. “But 20 Seconds To Live is our baby and we’re happy to finally give our fans some bloody new episodes to enjoy.”
