Happy Friday, everyone! Today, we have the very first installment of Daily Dead’s Salutes Your Shorts column for the brand new year. With SYS, this ongoing series that celebrates the best and the brightest in punctuated horror, Daily Dead aims to put the spotlight on filmmakers out there working in short-form genre storytelling twice a month.

On tap today, we have the horror comedy We Summoned A Demon from Chris McInroy, the latest from Luchagore Productions—The Cull, Brian Feeney’s The Knock at the Door (which will have you second-guessing everyone who shows up on your doorstep), and Nightbird by Rob Sorensen.

We hope you enjoy this latest round of Salutes Your Shorts, and be sure to check back in two weeks for more horror shorts right here on Daily Dead.
