One of my favorite gifts to give (and receive) are board games, because it’s a great way to interact with friends and family all while celebrating the things that we love. With that in mind, I’ve put together this extensive list of tons of awesome games and puzzles that would make excellent gifts during this holiday season. Here’s a look at some of the great puzzles and games I’ve come across this year (and few tried and true favorites as well).

The Beyond Puzzle

IT Chapter Two Pennywise Puzzle

If puzzle pieces could float, they'd be a little difficult to put together. Inspired by IT Chapter Two, there is a Pennywise with "Time to float" text design. If you look closely at the Dancing Clown, you might see his name written in his hair and hands on his collar.

The Game of Life: Haunted Mansion

The game board centers on extending the stories of the four stretch paintings found within the Haunted Mansion. Elements from inside and outside the Mansions tucked with in the game board. Slash Cards

Slash Cards is a horror movie trivia game for 1-6 players. It consists of two card decks: The Trivia Deck, and The Categories Deck. The Trivia Deck contains 1,375 questions that span the entire history of horror cinema. The Categories Deck is used to play Slash Cards' two game modes: The Slasher and The Survivor. In The Slasher, players take turns drawing Category Cards and answering questions. The first player to collect a card from each of the game's five categories wins, but watch out! If you draw a Slash Card you forfeit all your cards and start over. In The Survivor, each player begins with a full suite of Category Cards. Each time a player answers a question incorrectly they lose one of their cards. The last player with at least one card in their hand is the winner.
