Chicago horror fans and Daily Dead readers, don’t miss your chance to see Adam Green’s Victor Crowley on the big screen!

This Saturday, Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Con presents the Chicago premiere of Victor Crowley, the latest film from writer/director Adam Green and the surprise fourth installment in the popular Hatchet franchise. It’s the only scheduled Chicago stop on the Victor Crowley Roadshow Tour, meaning it will be your only opportunity to see the film in Illinois until its Blu-ray/DVD release. Daily Dead’s own Patrick Bromley will be on hand to moderate the Q&A with Adam Green, who will be in attendance at this very special event.

Daily Dead has its own unique connection to both the Hatchet franchise and Flashback Weekend, as it was while attending Flashback in 2007 that writer/director Adam Green (there to promote the release of the original Hatchet) inspired our own Heather Wixson to move out to Los Angeles and pursue her career as a full-time horror journalist. Ten years later, Heather is not only managing editor of this very site but has her first book, Monster Squad: Celebrating the Artists Behind Cinema’s Most Memorable Creatures, due out soon. It all starts with Flashback Weekend and the Hatchet franchise!

A limited number of tickets are still available, so check here for more information and don’t miss out on this very special October event!

From Flashback Weekend: Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Con hosts the VICTOR CROWLEY Roadshow  at the AMC Rosemont 18 (formerly Muvico) with director Adam Green in person!  The Roadshow will feature the Chicago Premiere of VICTOR CROWLEY (aka HATCHET 4).

In this fourth installment of the HATCHET series, 10 years after the events of the original movie, Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder) is mistakenly resurrected and proceeds to kill once more. Made in complete secrecy over a two year period, this fourth installment in the HATCHET franchise was unveiled as a surprise during a “10th Anniversary” screening event in Hollywood in August, 2017.

Adam Green will introduce the film, participate in a Q & A, and will be signing. Exclusive posters and awesome limited edition merchandise will be on sale at the theatre. This tour merchandise can only be purchased during Roadshow appearances and including a Victor Crowley skull made from the original movie molds, limited edition tour poster, Victor Crowley dolls, and more!

The movie starts at 9:00PM. Arrive early and enjoy dinner and drinks at Bogart’s Bar & Grill located on the second floor of the theatre. Get your tickets now here.
