Good news for those interested in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. The full retail release that sees Frank West as the main character of an overhauled Dead Rising 2 left fans a bit confused. Why charge full price for an alternate version of  the second game?

Although many were skeptical, Capcom announced that not only would the game feature Frank West, but new missions, bosses, locations, and items, as well as a save system, co-op, and more features not present in the original. While talking to Eurogamer, Capcom Vancouver revealed that the game would sell for $39.99 in North America and is scheduled to be released this Fall. With budget pricing, that definitely sounds worth it for those who haven't had a chance to play the original Dead Rising 2 and may be worth it for fans of the series who want new content.
