Originally set for release on December 24th, it has been announced that the first DLC for Dead Rising 3 has been delayed nearly a month. The first of four DLC episodes, Operation Broken Eagle puts you in the role of Spec Ops commander Adam Kane:

via Polygon: "The DLC puts players in the boots of Spec Ops commander Adam Kane, who is given a mission that "challenges everything he believes in" — he has to find and capture the president. Operation Broken Eagle consists of that mission, and also includes five new weapons, a new combo weapon, a new vehicle, an outfit and additional Gamerscore."

Capcom has announced that the new release date is January 21st and commented on the reason for the delay:

"Adding new content to the massive open world of Los Perdidos is a major undertaking, and to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players, we are putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing into the episode before it's released..."

Operation Broken Eagle will sell for $9.99 alone or you can pick up the DLC season pass for $29.99. Learn more about Dead Rising 3 by visiting the following link:
