The Last Voyage of the Demeter is a Dracula project that has been rumored for quite some time, but now a director is officially attached and things look to be moving forward. 30 Days of Night and Twilight: Eclipse director David Slade will be helming the project and Ben Kingsley and Noomi Rapace are already signed to co-star in the film

For those unaware, the Demeter is the ship that carries Dracula from Transylvania to England in the novel. During the trip, Dracula slowly kills the crew members one by one. The project has no start date, as the producers are still in the middle of securing financing, but hopefully things will move along quickly. This was always a movie I have been interested in seeing make it to the big screen.
