Eli Roth is sure keeping busy. He's producing a number of projects, including The Last Exorcism II and Aftershock, he's behind the Goretorium attraction in Las Vegas, and will be directing the cannibal film The Green Inferno. Roth might also be adding a new Dracula film to that list, according to a recent report.

Harker is a Dracula a project at Warner Bros. that was originally set to be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan) and Deadline is reporting that Eli Roth is in talks to take over as director. We previously covered the news that Russell Crowe was being eyed for the lead role of Harker, but it is being said that he's set to play Count Dracula.

We'll be sure to update this story as soon as anything becomes official, but we should hear more soon as Warner Bros. is interested in this project filming early next year. While the script is being revised, here are some details from our previous report:

“...Warner Bros. is in talks with Russell Crowe about starring in Harker, a reimagining of Bram Stoker’s Dracula that’s being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio. It tells the vampire story from the point of view of Jonathan Harker, who — instead of his traditional role as a lawyer — is now a Scotland Yard detective investigating the Count’s string of grisly murders in England.”
