Scream 4's Emma Roberts is the latest addition to the cast of American Horror Story: Coven. While character information has been mostly kept a secret, TVLine learned that she'll be playing Madison, "a self-involved party girl."
We recently reported that Precious star Gabourey Sidibe will be joining the cast, along with Kathy Bates, who will be a major part of the third season. Angela Bassett and Patti LuPone are also new additions, but we have no details on who they'll be playing at this time. A number of actors from past seasons will return to play new characters, including Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe and Evan Peters. The cast is still coming together, so we’re definitely expecting a few more of the past actors to make an appearance.
Filming of American Horror Story: Coven will take place in New Orleans and multiple unannounced locations. The season will premiere later this year and is expected to include thirteen episodes.
