A girl stands before the prehistoric bones of dinosaurs in the first image from the Jurassic World sequel.

Shared by director J.A. Bayona on Twitter and posted on the film's official Facebook page, the new Jurassic World 2 image shows dinosaur bones assembled in a museum in a manner in which we're accustomed to seeing our prehistoric predecessors. But with this being a sequel to 2015's Jurassic World, and the fifth film overall in the Jurassic Park franchise, we can expect to see plenty of living, breathing dinos when the film stomps into theaters on June 22nd, 2018.

Plot details are being kept under wraps for Jurassic World 2, but Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return to reprise their roles from the 2015 film, with the cast also featuring BD Wong, Toby Jones, Ted Levine, James Cromwell, Rafe Spall, and Justice Smith. Bayona directs Jurassic World 2 from a screenplay by Colin Trevorrow (director of Jurassic World) and Derek Connolly, with Steven Spielberg executive producing the project. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more details.
