As far as literary-based houses go, the Neibolt House from Stephen King’s classic novel IT is prime nightmare fodder, and thankfully the folks at Warner Bros./New Line Cinema agree with that sentiment, because on Sunday evening they launched The IT Experience in Los Angeles, where attendees can go through the immersive haunt guided by their very own “Georgie” and experience all the terror Pennywise has in store for The Losers’ Club once IT arrives in theaters on September 8th.

Daily Dead was on hand for the unveiling over the weekend, and we’ve brought back some photos from our experience inside (and out) of the Neibolt House. And while I don’t want to ruin the surprises for those who are looking forward to checking out The IT Experience for themselves in the coming weeks, I will tell you that attendees should prepare themselves to travel through the sewers of Derry and various set pieces from Neibolt that are featured in the upcoming film, and everyone’s favorite demonic clown makes a few appearances as well.
