After taking viewers around the world (and underworld) on a heady examination of family ties, violent faith, and fiery friendship, Preacher will return for its fourth and final season this summer on AMC.
Executive producer Seth Rogen shared the news of Preacher's return on Twitter, posting a video that declares the upcoming fourth season as the final one for the series, which will will return to AMC on August 4th:

An adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's groundbreaking comic book series of the same name, Preacher has pulled no punches throughout its first three seasons, filling its story with larger-than-life characters, poignant moments of mortal (and immortal) reflection, and some of the best fight choreography on television.

“Preacher” stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett and new series regulars Betty Buckley (“Supergirl,” “Split”) and Colin Cunningham (“Blood Drive,” “Falling Skies”). Jeremy Childs (“The Last Castle,” “Nashville”), Liz McGreever (“Star, Nashville”), Jonny Coyne (“Turn,” “Alcatraz”), Adam Croasdell (“Reign”) and Prema Cruz (“Mozart in the Jungle”) are recurring guest stars.
