With summer camp season around the corner, Friday the 13th fans are one step closer to Gun Media's fall release of Friday the 13th: The Game. To show gamers another way to survive as a counselor at Camp Crystal Lake, a new overview video explains how to use vehicles to escape a brutal death at the hands of Jason Voorhees.

In addition to the latest overview video, a new development update video from Illfonic goes over the game's latest behind-the-scenes progress and offers a look at the Friday the 13th Part VII version of Jason. Additionally, the game's two newest camp counselors have also been revealed, and we have images of the potential Jason Voorhees victims, as well as the latest videos, below.

“Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person, asymmetrical multiplayer title where one player controls Jason Voorhees while the remaining seven control camp counselors trying to survive the night. That’s right…1v7 multiplayer set in the semi-open world of Camp Crystal Lake! It’s a classic horror fan’s dream, no shaky cam, no found footage. We want you to know we’re revitalizing the golden era of slashers, and putting you at the controls of each horrific, blood-splattered moment.

Friday the 13th: The Game is being developed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, for release in Fall, 2016.
