Back in March during PAX East 2017, Gun Media and IllFonic revealed a new version of Jason Voorhees created by special effects guru Tom Savini, who imagined what the Camp Crystal Lake killer would look like after his stint in the underworld post-Jason Goes To Hell. And while previous images showed the fiery take on Jason from the shoulders up, a new video shows the full version of Savini's Jason in action as he ruthlessly hunts down a counselor.

You can watch the new Friday the 13th: The Game video below, with a special introduction by Savini himself, and in case you missed it, check out the previously revealed images of the new Voorhees design (as well as the Jason Goes to Hell version).

"We fully reveal the newly designed Tom Savini interpretation of Jason Voorhees, after escaping from Hell!

This version of Jason Voorhees was offered as a pre-order only item on Backerkit, and as a reward for Kickstarter backers (at appropriately listed tier).

New version of Jason Voorhees, created exclusively for Friday the 13th: The Game by the legendary horror icon himself, Mr. Tom Savini

This is the first Jason Voorhees created by Tom Savini since Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter (1984), and the first new Jason in the series since the 2009 film reboot.

At the end of Friday the 13th Part 9: Jason Goes to Hell, Jason gets drug into the depths of hell, seemingly gone forever. This Jason model reflects Tom Savini's interpretation of what might have happened to Jason after this epic event.

Friday the 13th: The Game is being developed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, for release in Early 2017.
