Welcome back for another installment of “From Streams to Screams,” everyone! It’s Monday, which is always the roughest day of the week to get through, so perhaps there are a few films on this list that might help ease that pain a bit. For today’s selection of horror movies that are currently streaming on a variety of platforms—Shudder, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Vudu and Tubi TV—we’re taking a trip back in time to the 1970s and 1980s, which were arguably two of the greatest decades in genre storytelling.

And before anyone asks, “Where’s this movie? Where’s this other movie?,” I’ve been careful to not repeat listings in all of the different editions of “From Streams to Screams,” so this is more of a rundown of all the great ’70s and ’80s horror that I haven’t been able to mention over the last few weeks on other lists for various reasons (check here to catch up on our previous "From Streams to Screams" lists).
