Ghostbusters Sequel Talk

2011/01/07 23:29:32 +00:00 | Jonathan James

Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II director Ivan Reitman is promoting his latest film, No Strings Attached, and ComingSoon.net got to ask him for an update on the possible Ghostbusters sequel:

"...We have a really good script, but Bill (Murray) has to read it. He hasn't read it. There has been all kinds of chatter online about him reading it and not liking it. He has not read a thing. He's never read anything. And I just sent it to him. So we'll see. God knows how long that will take. But we'll see... There is almost nothing that is accurate online about that film..."

New Ghostbusters casting and production rumors pop up almost weekly, so it is good to get some official word on this. You can visit the source link below for the rest of the interview, which includes information on Sigourney Weaver's Dana character having a role in the new script.
