Happy Halloween, readers! Now that October 31st is finally upon us, I thought I’d put together a collection of short-form frights for you all to enjoy and to get you ready for the spooky shenanigans to come once the darkness falls on our favorite holiday. I wanted to feature thrills and chills of all varieties, so I do hope you dig on this eclectic group of horror-minded shorts from all over the world.

Also, be forewarned: some of these are probably NSFW, so if you are looking for a distraction while at work, you may want to make sure you have your headphones handy. Enjoy, and in case you missed it, check here to read our other Halloween 2017 coverage.

Peek A Boo

Synopsis: Claire gets an unexpected text message from a stranger.

The Landing

Synopsis: A man returns to the Midwestern farm of his childhood on a desperate mission to unearth the horrifying truth of what landed there in the summer of 1960.

Monsters

Synopsis: Monsters is a Twilight Zone style story for the modern world. It seethes with suspense from its first moment, all the way up to its jaw-dropping finale. And like any classic Twilight Zone episode, it’s grounded by universal themes that anyone can relate to.

Canis

Synopsis: Canis is an award-winning puppet animated short film by Marc Riba & Anna Solanas about a boy who survives isolated in a house constantly besieged by a horde of stray dogs.

The Moonlight Man

Synopsis: In this short horror film, a girl walking to her car at night sees a strange figure standing in the darkness.
