Following the critical and financial success (bringing in almost $80 million dollars globally on a $10 million budget, not including marketing costs) of Hereditary, Ari Aster's next project, a horror movie for A24, is one of the most anticipated films on many viewers' radars, and now you can mark your calendars, as the release date for Aster's upcoming (and untitled) movie has been revealed.

According to Exhibitor Relations, Aster's next movie is slated for an August 9th, 2019 release from A24:

Deadline previously reported that Aster's next movie will be an "untitled horror project" for A24 that was expected to start production at the end of the summer or beginning of the fall. With no shortage of critical acclaim for Hereditary, A24 is putting a lot of faith into Aster for his second feature film, as the untitled movie is reportedly going to be the largest production to date for the studio, with Lars Knudsen and B Reel on board to produce.

While the official synopsis and title have yet to be revealed, Deadline reported that Aster's next film will center on "a young woman who reluctantly joins her boyfriend on a summer trip where things quickly go awry." We'll be sure to keep Daily Dead readers updated on Aster's next movie as more details are revealed.
