HALLOWEEN TEAM Comic Book Miniseries Set To Haunt You in October 2022: "From writer Danny Baram and artist Matt Shults, new comic book  series HALLOWEEN TEAM sees its long-awaited digital release this October, with Issue #1 (of 4)  launching digitally on Amazon/Comixology on October 4th – just in time for Halloween season.

HALLOWEEN TEAM – a spooky adventure series in the vein of properties like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Stranger Things – mixes action, horror, humor, and heart and features a wide-appeal premise with a  diverse cast of characters. The four-issue miniseries introduces readers to a brand-new, original story:  Years ago, five misfit kids banded together to form Halloween Team - a group dedicated to solving  mysteries and hunting monsters in the small town of Greenwood, MA. Now, twenty years later, the kids  are grown and lead separate lives - until a new mystery brings them together for one more adventure.

Issue #1 sets up this new adventure - introducing team founder Tommy Taylor, and slowly pulling back  the curtain on what the team’s been up to since they were last together. Over the course of the  miniseries, more of the team’s backstory is revealed, as the mystery of what drove them apart comes to  the forefront.

“I can’t wait for people to finally be able to read our first issue,” said series writer Danny Baram. “We  kick off the story by gradually getting the team back together and looking at their current and former  dynamic – but eventually, things really ramp up and the characters find themselves knee-deep in the  middle of a dangerous supernatural mystery. That said, these four issues are only scratching the surface

of the stories we have to tell. So we hope that, eventually, we have the opportunity to continue this  story and further explore these characters.”

The series is unique in that it features compelling world-building and lore, but also focuses on grounded  and relatable characters and relationships. Halloween Team features monsters, magic, and mystery – but also deals with the trials and tribulations of being a young adult in 2022, from the perils of online  dating to navigating corporate culture. It’s a multi-layered yet highly accessible serialized story that can  appeal to both core comics fans and mainstream pop-culture audiences alike.

Issue #1 of HALLOWEEN TEAM releases October 4th, and is available for pre-order now on  Amazon/Comixology. Issue #2 will launch later in October, with Issues #3 and #4 slated for early 2023. The self-published comic is releasing under the newly-created All-New All-Awesome Comics imprint, and  is recommended for readers aged 15 and older. Additionally, HALLOWEEN TEAM T-shirts, sweatshirts,  and other merchandise is available on the online apparel retailer Design By Humans.

“In the first issue, the team members joke about having Halloween Team T-shirts, so we thought it’d be  fun if we actually made them available,” said Baram. “I love the logo we designed, and it’s perfect for  expressing your love for Halloween – even if you haven’t yet read the comic. But we hope everyone  reads the comic!”

Early reviews of the first issue have been strong, with outlets like Shattered Glass Comic Reviews  praising the book. “A fantastic opener that fully sucked me into the story … I can't recommend this  enough. So excited for more Halloween Team!”
