New Horror Attraction at Madame Tussauds Hollywood: "Just in time for Halloween, Madame Tussauds Hollywood is excited to launch a NEW fully immersive and selfie-ready ILLUSIONS OF HORROR - set to debut this month. Family, friends and wicked minds alike are welcome to delight in delusion and indulge in deception as nightmares come to life!
The world-famous attraction will be transformed into an interactive space, themed with various creepy installations unlike any other - perfect for that epic scary selfie. Guests are invited to pucker up to Dracula, cuddle in a coffin with your mummy, and indulge in Chianti with Hannibal Lector. To add to the fury of fear, guests can get up close and personal with icons of horror including Bela Lugosi (Dracula), Boris Karloff (Frankenstein and the Mummy) and more!
Illusions of Horror will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Madame Tussauds Hollywood."

Castlevania TV Series Collectibles from Diamond Select Toys: "Castlevania TV Series to Receive Collectibles from Diamond Select Toys.
For 22 years, the world of Castlevania has enthralled video game enthusiasts with its adventure-oriented take on the Dracula mythos. Then, in 2017, an animated series based on that world debuted on Netflix, receiving an overwhelmingly positive reception from old and new fans alike. With a second season bowing on October 26, Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles, LLC, is honored to have been selected as the master toy licensee for the series, with multiple collectible lines planned.
Beginning in 2019, DST will offer products in a number of different categories, including Select action figures, Gallery PVC dioramas, Vinimates vinyl figures, Minimates mini-figures, resin statues and more. Products will be offered at multiple major retail chains, as well as through independent comic book shops via Diamond Comic Distributors.
“The Castlevania franchise has a rich, deep history, and the new animated series takes all of it to a new, vibrant, visually superb level,” said Diamond Select Toys president Chuck Terceira. “I’m personally a fan of the show, and I can’t wait to help execute some of its amazing character designs in 3-D.”
Based on the game Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, the Netflix series follows Trevor Belmont as he and other vampire hunters defend the nation of Wallachia from the demonic forces of a vengeful Count Dracula. The Castlevania. It was written by Warren Ellis, writer of a number of acclaimed comic books, including Transmetropolitan, Planetary, The Authority, Global Frequency, Astonishing X-Men and Red, as well as the video games Dead Space, Cold Winter, and Hostile Waters. Animation for the anime-influenced series is by Powerhouse Animation Studios.

The Shed Production Details: "A Bigger Boat, in association with Wing & A Prayer Pictures, is proud to announce - and reveal three first-look images from - THE SHED, a bold horror feature from New York-based writer/director Frank Sabatella. The thriller recently wrapped filming in upstate New York and is eyeing a 2019 festival run.
THE SHED tells the story of Stan, an orphaned teenager stuck living with his abusive grandfather and tasked with routinely protecting his best friend from high school bullies. When Stan discovers a murderous creature has taken refuge inside the toolshed in his backyard, he tries to secretly battle the demon alone until his bullied friend discovers the creature and has a far more sinister plan in mind.
THE SHED stars Timothy Bottoms (The Last Picture Show), Frank Whaley (Pulp Fiction), Siobhan Fallon (Men in Black), Jay Jay Warren (Amazon Prime's Bosch), Cody Kostro (CBS' Elementary), and newcomer Sofia Happonen. It is produced by Peter Block, godfather of Lionsgate's blockbuster SAW franchise, and producer of (House At The End Of The Street); Cory Neal, producer, who produced the ski-lift thriller Frozen with Block, as well as the Hatchet series; and Wing & A Prayer's Josh Crook (The All Nighter).
Sabatella previously wrote and directed the 2011 Lionsgate release Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet, as well as a number of holiday-themed Halloween shorts via his New York-based production shingle, Sideshow Pictures. Said Sabatella upon the completion of filming, “I'm really excited about our dynamic cast of veteran actors and incredibly talented fresh faces that bring an interesting dimension of realism to the film. It is a unique horror piece with great scares and awesome moments that I think audiences will really respond to. I can’t wait to get it in front of them." Added Block, “Frank (Sabatella) and I wanted to take a cool horror set-up and use it to comment on current anti-bullying discussions, as well as to use a horror creature as a metaphor for the extreme outcomes that occur when the bullied are pushed too far.
Rounding out the film's crew is Director of Photography Matthias Schubert (Ryuhei Kitamura's Downrange), longtime Sideshow Pictures collaborator Jeremy Selenfriend handling the picture's practical FX, and Mike Mendez as Co-Producer.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
