"Your favorite horror-comedy sketch team is putting on the bloodiest Halloween show you'll see this Halloween.

Our audience kept saying "I wonder what Nightchurch will do for Halloween?", our bar set high before we were out of summer. So we asked ourselves, after vampire/zombie hybrids, mutant dance-offs, Exorcist show stoppers... how CAN we top ourselves? Then it hit us...

Let's kill the audience. And ourselves.

Nightchurch dares you to risk a trip to our Psycho Circus. No boundaries. No rules. Just weird, bloody, horror-comedy, burlesque, sideshow, and mayhem.

Ponchos are available.

Nightchurch brings the video store back from the grave. A sketch team turned multi-media production company, creating videos, podcasts, live sketch shows, branded content and more based on horror, cult classics, comic books, and more. Highlighted by Fangoria, College Humor, Voyage, and Yay LA, they're certainly memorable.

The First Curse Kickstarter Details: "The Director of Dude Bro Party Massacre 3, Tomm Jacobsen, returns with his first solo project: an intense horror thriller set 40,000 years ago during the extinction of the Neanderthals.

His Kickstarter launches October 15th.

WHAT: After his directorial debut with 5 Second Films’ first feature, Kickstarter cult hit Dude Bro Party Massacre 3, Tomm Jacobsen returns to Kickstart his first solo project - a brutal vision of horror set before history began.

The First Curse follows a Neanderthal hunter living in the primordial woods of Serbia. On a particularly bitter cold night, humans in crude masks kidnap his pregnant "wife" and bait him into a game of cat and mouse through the trees that end in a moment of terror you will never forget.

While the creative team comes from a comedy background, this short will be anything but funny.

WHEN & WHERE: The Kickstarter launches October 15th with the official campaign video, podcast, and live stream, but people who are interested should sign up on Kickstarter to follow the campaign today so they don’t forget!

WHO: Tomm Jacobsen is best known for his work as a director on Dude Bro Party Massacre 3 and with the infamous comedy collective 5 Second Films. His work has been described as “an instant cult classic” by IndieWire and “murderously great horror satire” by Ain’t It Cool News."

Documenting the Witch Path Release Details: "TERROR FILMS has acquired worldwide rights to Carl Sundstrom’s terrifying found footage film, Documenting the Witch Path.

Inspired by actual events, this film follows three young documentary filmmakers, (Nathaniel P. Erlandsson, Robin Franzen and Carl Sundstrom). Together, they discover a path in the woods, which leads to a lake known as Witch Lake. Accused of witchcraft during the 17th century, many innocent men, women, and children were drowned in this now infamous lake. With the entrance to the path covered and the lake closed to the public, the filmmakers venture into the woods in search of a horrifying truth.

The film has won a number of awards. Written and directed by Sundstrom and produced by Simon Tuomisto, the film has won Best Documentary Feature at both the Bloody Horror International Film Festival and the Independent Horror Movie Awards. John Lepper, Adam Whitton, Chase Whitton, and Sundstrom executive produced the feature.

TERROR FILMS has set an initial release date for Friday, October 11th. The platform rollout will occur over several months and include Google Play, POV Horror, Xbox, Prime Video, Vudu, Tubi TV, Roku, and many others."

About the Author - Tamika Jones

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
