1 Survives Kickstarter Launch Details: "If you're a fan of 80's horror slasher movies (like Friday the 13th, Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street) or have ever wanted to play a part in one of these classics then 1 Survives is the next best thing.

THE STORY
A High School boat trip goes gravely wrong when the engine dies and the vessel drifts onto the rocky shoreline of a seemingly deserted island. The boat is damaged in the collision and the group must search for a means to repair the craft or an alternative way to escape the island.

However, all is not as it seems as the island has one lone inhabitant, who has removed themselves from society to avoid the temptation of taking further lives of innocent victims. The disturbance has reignited a bloodlust and every soul who remains on the island is their next potential victim.

1 Survives is a fast-paced card game of strategy and skill. It is every player for themselves as you try to find an alternative way to escape the island while evading and fending off the killer’s attacks. Of course, sending the killer after one of your ‘friends’ might just increase your chances of success.

A perfect travel game or party game, with enough depth to make players think, but also simple to pick up and play quickly. With each game lasting between 10 and 20 minutes, it is ideal for short breaks or a quick fix of fun during longer gaming sessions.

The game is a mix of a set collection element, which allows you to escape or to permanently put an end to the killer and 'take that' as you send the killer to attack other players, thwarting their escape efforts and pushing them ever closer to a grisly end."

For more information on the horror survival game, 1 Survives, visit its official Kickstarter page.

Radio Rental Podcast Release Details: "Podcasting powerhouse Tenderfoot TV, with 450 million downloads and five consecutive chart-topping true-crime hits, will launch their first semi-scripted podcast “Radio Rental” on Halloween. “Radio Rental” will chronicle real-life stories set against the backdrop of a fictional, enigmatic world. The podcast will also feature a soon-to-be-announced well-known actor as a video store clerk who holds a secret VHS collection of tales of horror and the unexplained.

Tenderfoot TV co-founder and host Payne Lindsey will helm the series, which will include detailed stories of terror, spanning from eerie experiences with the dead, to close shave encounters with killers, to unexplained phenomena that haunts the storytellers still today, like reappearing objects, glitches in the space-time continuum and a childhood friendship with a girl who seemingly never existed. Over the course of each episode, Lindsey interviews the people who’ve lived to tell they are terrifying tales. The podcast will debut the first two episodes on Thursday, October 31, with subsequent episodes premiering every Tuesday.

“This podcast is something new,” said Payne Lindsey, Co-founder of Tenderfoot TV and host of “Radio Rental.” “As our first semi-scripted project, it’s a bit of a departure from our other work. I really wanted to create a fun, new world for these stories to live -- a place where the listener can feel truly immersed in the horror without being weighed down by it. The world of ‘Radio Rental’ is fictional, but the stories are real stories from real people.”

At the core of all Tenderfoot TV’s podcasts is a story that has been otherwise forgotten or ignored. The team created hit true-crime podcast franchises “Up and Vanished”, “Monster”, “Sworn,” “To Live and Die in LA” and it's latest “Culpable.” The latter of which recently announced that Tenderfoot TV will be funding a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or conviction in the tragic death of Christian Andreacchio. The launch of “Radio Rental” marks the company’s next wave of storytelling.
About Tenderfoot TV:

Founded by Atlanta director and independent filmmaker, Payne Lindsey, and music industry veteran, Donald Albright, Tenderfoot TV is a hub for creators and storytellers. About the Author - Tamika Jones

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
