TARGET: SPIDER-MAN IN PREDATOR'S GRITTIEST SERIES YET!
A heat wave sends NYC into a blackout and Spider-Man on patrol as tempers boil across the city. But beneath its grimy sewers and subways lurks a threat unlike anything Peter Parker has faced before. Introducing “Skinner,” a Predator of no honor and no clan – only a thirst for blood.
“Spider-Man is at the top of every writer's wishlist. I'm thrilled and grateful to get this opportunity, putting this beloved webslinger against the galaxy's greatest hunters in the urban wilderness of New York,” Percy said. “It's so much fun to live in Peter Parker's world -- and to put my own wild spin on his relationship with MJ, Jonah Jameson, and (yes -- oh, hell yes) Kraven. Marcelo Ferreira captures the visual dynamism of Spidey so well, and we've had a lot of fun designing a Predator that is unlike any other. This Yautja -- who we're calling Skinner -- has no code or clan. He's the perfect nightmarish foil to the big-hearted Parker.”

Watch the Short Film THEY'RE COMING TONIGHT: "Peter and Ingrid are a couple hiding in an old house at night. They're under siege from a group of mysterious strangers from the town, and that group is getting closer with each passing moment.
As they prepare the home for an imminent attack, they find solace in one another. But when the mob arrives, they face their biggest challenge as a pair.
Directed and written by John Bonner, this suspenseful, visually striking horror short captures a couple under siege by a threatening mob. They're holed up in their home, with no route to escape, and they have no choice but to prepare as the threat gets closer. The narrative is essentially an effective build-up of threat and tension, with a well-controlled flow of information that fills in what eventually is revealed as a sly and subversive picture.
Much of the film's effectiveness is harnessed by its visual acuity, conjuring a sense of claustrophobia and encroaching doom through increasingly confined spaces and frames. Its stately black-and-white cinematography and elegant camerawork harken back to early horror classics such as NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, as does the atmospheric sound design and classically creepy musical score. This nostalgia in craftsmanship is often used by many films to create a sense of campiness or postmodern commentary on the genre itself. But here, the storytelling is thoroughly committed to building tension and suspense, especially as Peter and Ingrid's dilemma becomes increasingly urgent.
Actors Gabriella Gonzalez Biziou and Gabriel Burrafato turn in performances that prove to be the emotional grounding of the film. Rather than stylizing their mannerisms or voices to the mores of yesteryear's screen acting, their characters are precise and subtly shaded. Peter is nervous and anxious, while Ingrid remains cool-headed and pragmatic through their ordeal -- a difference that proves intriguing and revealing as the narrative pushes forward with each subtle reveal.
Those reveals -- as well as a visually arresting final confrontation between the couple and the mob -- add up to a reframing of the story and characters, bringing THEY'RE COMING TONIGHT to a satisfyingly horrifying conclusion, though the expected final stand-off isn't the maelstrom of violence that we've been building up to. But with immense style, surprise and skill, the film nevertheless satisfies the sinister payoff it's been slowly setting up, to chilling effect."

Epic Pictures’ DREAD Label Sets Release Date for True Crime Thriller Ed Kemper: "DREAD, L.A.-based distribution and financing company Epic Pictures’ specialty horror label, will be releasing the true crime horror thriller, ED KEMPER, in North America. Ed Kemper is the first installment of a gripping series of biographical true crime stories that Dread will be distributing, followed by Dorothea, Richard Ramirez and more. The film will be released in select theaters beginning April 4, 2025 and available for rent or purchase on video-on-demand April 8, 2025. Ed Kemper was directed by Chad Ferrin (Pig Killer, H.P. Lovecraft’s the Old Ones), Ferrin also served as one of the film’s writers alongside Stephen Johnston (Ted Bundy, The Hillside Strangler). The film stars Lew Temple (The Walking Dead), Cassandra Gava (Conan the Barbarian), Robert Miano (Fast & Furious), Brinke Stevens (House on Haunted Hill), Susan Priver (Night Caller) and Brandon Kirk (Scalper).
Ed Kemper follows the horrifying true story of Ed Kemper, a cunning and sadistic serial killer shaped by childhood abuse, whose charming facade masked his grotesque obsession with murder, mutilation, and the ultimate act of revenge against the woman who scarred him most—his mother."
"Having three films releasing in 2025 is a watershed moment for me. And with two of those, Ed Kemper and Dorothea, in the capable hands of Epic Pictures their cinematic future couldn't be brighter" says Chad Ferrin.
Stephen Johnston adds, "I originally envisioned Ed Kemper as having a sort of punk rock horror energy, and seeing that realized by Chad Ferrin’s sure-handed direction, deft performances from the cast, and the hard work of a great crew, and now learning the movie’s going to have its release through Epic Pictures has truly been magical. Sure, it’s a disturbing sort of magical, but that’s the best kind.”
“We’re beyond thrilled to unleash ED KEMPER, a bold and unnerving dive into the mind of one of history’s most infamous killers. True crime and horror are a potent, pulse-pounding combination, and with this film—and our upcoming slate at Dread—we’re crafting stories that are as smart as they are terrifying,” says Epic Pictures CEO Patrick Ewald. “Brace yourself for an intense and unforgettable ride into the darkest corners of human nature.”
