We have a few news items to get your week started on the right foot, specifically if you're a fan of Jason Voorhees, the CW's upcoming iZombie series, and H.P. Lovecraft.

According to EGM via Bloody Disgusting, the first Friday the 13th video game since the 1989 NES offering is in development for various platforms. Currently titled Friday the 13th, the game is set for an October 2015 release and it's believed that gamers will have the chance to play Camp Crystal Lake's slasher in residence, Jason Voorhees.

To go along with their announcement that iZombie will premiere on Tuesday, March 17th, The CW revealed a new trailer for the show about a partially living dead coroner's office worker who can absorb the memories of the deceased by eating their brains.
