New Clip from Coyote: "Here is a clip from an arthouse horror film that has been banned at several festivals and has won awards at others, in its first public screenings: controversial director Trevor Juenger's Coyote. The film stars Bill Oberst Jr. as an insomniac writer whose sleep-deprived hallucinations distort reality as paranoia drives him to extreme violence. The surreal shocker, which mixes arthouse and horror, is shopping for distribution and its first public screenings have elicited strong reactions.

Director Trevor Juenger tweeted last week from a festival: "Someone in the audience keeps yelling What Is This? and What Does It Mean? We're going to give him an aneurysm by film's end." Juenger says a college screening of Coyote was shut down in mid-film by an administrator citing "extreme violence," while another public screening in the director's hometown of St. Louis had to be cancelled when the theater owner refused to run the film due to "extreme content."

Fans of the surreal and the extreme can decide for themselves once Coyote gets distribution.

Directed and written by Trevor Juenger, [Coyote] stars Bill Oberst Jr., Joe Hammerstone, Victoria Mullen and Bill Finkbinder."

Everybody Dies at Scarycon: "For three years, the EVERYBODY DIES Horror Film Festival has proudly presented the best in independent horror films to a huge audience of scary movie fans. Now, inspired by the amazing filmmakers who have provided the content for Orange County, California's only horror film festival, the crew behind the scenes are ready to capture the fun AND terrifying tone that they've brought to their festival in their very own movie, “EVERYBODY DIES at SCARYCON!”

It’s a tale about a scary movie director, Eddie Desmond, who, while attending a fan convention, has a nervous breakdown and announces he will never make another horror flick. But when he gets back to his hotel room, the characters from his movies come to life and decide they're not ready for their director to be done with them. In true EVERYBODY DIES fashion, it will be bloody, it will be funny, it will be disturbing!

The filmmakers have a campaign that will wrap up in less than two weeks and they need the help of you, the horror movie fans, to make their goal!"

The Looking Glass Trailer and Release Details: "A surreal thriller that follows Paul, a troubled young man who lives in a rural house with his pregnant girlfriend Claire. Paul's world is turned upside down one night when Claire's sinister, predatory mother, Agnes arrives at their house to visit. Paul is instinctively afraid of this witch-like woman who seems to know all of his darkest secrets and fears. Agnes begins to exert a malevolent influence over Paul's life, and one of her patients, a terrifying burn victim, begins to stalk Paul with murderous intent. The Looking Glass blends reality and fantasy, and interweaves Paul's adult journey with a parallel story from his childhood as his eight year old self. The Looking Glass is considered by critics to be top notch indy cinema, and director Colin Downey is the most exciting filmmaking voices today.

BrinkVision releases the critically acclaimed thriller The Looking Glass on VOD and Special Edition DVD November 19th! The Looking Glass is being called a new underground cult classic with a creepy atmosphere, brilliant acting from Patrick O'Donnell, and cinematography that is twisted to watch."

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
