One decade after they launched out of their graves to take a bite out of the big screen at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival, the zombies in Gregg Bishop's Dance of the Dead are returning to Hollywood for a special 10th anniversary screening of the cult horror comedy, followed by a living dead prom party!
After an infectiously fun screening and cast/crew reunion in Atlanta, the Dance of the Dead 10th anniversary celebration will continue on Saturday, May 19th at Hollywood's TCL Chinese 6 Theatres (6801 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028, located on the 3rd floor of the Hollywood & Highland Center).
Presented by Screamfest and kicking off at 7:30pm PT, the Dance of the Dead 10th anniversary Los Angeles screening will reunite the cast and crew of the cult film for a reflective Q&A moderated by Daily Dead Senior Editor and Corpse Club co-host Derek Anderson. The Q&A will include writer Joe Ballarini, director/producer Gregg Bishop, actor Jared Kusnitz (Jimmy), actress Greyson Chadwick (Lindsey), actor Blair Redford (Nash Rambler) from The Gifted on FOX, and actor Lucas Till (Jensen) from X-Men: First Class and MacGyver on CBS. Other cast and crew members will also be in attendance!
At this celebration, we don't just want you to watch zombies at the big dance, we want you to become them! Attendees are encouraged to dress as living dead prom-goers for "A Night to Remember" party and costume contest in the theater's bar area following the screening. There will be prom-themed drinks to enjoy, a zombified prom photo backdrop, prizes to die for, and before the night is over, a prom king and queen will even be crowned!
Tickets are $16 apiece and come with a free beer ticket.
