Fans of Clue, take note: Rian Johnson's next film, a murder mystery mansion film titled Knives Out, is set to be released late next year from Lionsgate.

Deadline reports that Lionsgate is teaming up with MRC to release Knives Out on November 27th, 2019. Featuring Daniel Craig in the lead role of a detective, Knives Out is a modern-day murder mystery (also described as an "Agatha Christie-style murder mystery") that is expected to take place in a mansion.

Written and directed by Johnson, Knives Out has a star-studded cast comprised of the aforementioned Craig, as well as Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Ana de Armas, Christopher Plummer, Katherine Langford, and Don Johnson.

Via Deadline, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chairman Joe Drake shared his excitement for distributing Johnson's latest film:

“Knives Out redefines the detective movie genre in a cool and original way With a superstar filmmaker, an amazing ensemble cast and the perfect partner in MRC, we can hardly wait to bring this big, crowd-pleasing property to a global audience next Thanksgiving.”
