We covered the previous release of "Path to Madness", a mock documentary for Lovely Molly. We now have the first part of another mock documentary feature titled "Haunted Past". Lovely Molly is the new film from The Blair Witch Project co-creator Eduardo Sanchez and will receive a limited theatrical release on May 18th.

"When newlywed Molly Reynolds returns to her long-abandoned family home, remainders of a nightmarish childhood begin seeping into her new life. A malevolent force, whether her own huanted past or some supernatural 'thing,' tirelessly seeks to overwhelm her. Alone and isolated in a centuries-old house, she soon begins an inexorable descent into depravity. Somewhere in the house, in that terrible space between psychosis and possession, lies an evil that will pull Molly and all those around her into darkness and death."

Lovely Molly stars Gretchen Lodge, Alexandra Holden, Johnny Lewis, Ken Arnold, Daniel Ross, Katie Foster, and Lauren Lakis. Here are links to our recent coverage:

"In the new horror thriller LOVELY MOLLY, Molly Reynolds transforms from a happy newlywed to a person capable of unspeakable acts. This series explores the origins of Molly's dark descent. In this episode, LOVELY MOLLY: HAUNTED PAST Part 1, the ghostly history of Molly's childhood home is revealed."
