Marvel Announces New Secret Wars

When Marvel published the 12-issue Secret Wars from 1984 – 1985, the grand story arcs and presence of the mighty Beyonder had a rippling effect on multiple comic book series, and a similar influence occurred in Secret Wars II (’85 – ’86). Now fans will see the epic publishing event reignited, as Marvel has announced they will begin publishing a new Secret Wars in 2015.

Marvel recently announced at New York Comic Con that writer/artist Jonathan Hickman and artist Esad Ribic will be creating a new Secret Wars to be published in 2015. No other details are known at this time, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on further announcements.
