Beginning this weekend, moviegoers can travel back to the scary shores of Skull Island, and Mondo is celebrating the latest entry to the King Kong franchise with new posters by artist Francesco Francavilla.

From Mondo: "Tomorrow in partnership with Legendary Art Series, we’ll have a stunning new set of posters for KONG: SKULL ISLAND by Francesco Francavilla! With such an iconic character, we wanted to be sure we hired an artist who could meet the challenge. Francesco’s work on these is a true testament to a lifelong love of the giant ape and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. He really stepped up and delivered on the brief, rendering a hirsute majesty breaking through the clouds like a god.

KONG: SKULL ISLAND hits theaters this weekend - go check it out! The posters will be available tomorrow (3/10) at a random time via mondotees.com.

About the Author - Derek Anderson

Raised on a steady diet of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books and Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Derek has been fascinated with fear since he first saw ForeverWare being used on an episode of Eerie, Indiana.

When he’s not writing about horror as the Senior News Reporter for Daily Dead, Derek can be found daydreaming about the Santa Carla Boardwalk from The Lost Boys or reading Stephen King and Brian Keene novels.
