More Prometheus Casting News

The Daily Mail is reporting that additional actors have joined the cast of Prometheus, including Idris Elba from The Wire. Elba has made a pretty successful jump from TV to film, appearing in 28 Weeks Later, Rocknrolla, The Losers, and Thor, among others.

It was reported that Sean Harris (Red Riding Trilogy) and Kate Dickie (Red Road) have also joined the cast which includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, and Charlize Theron.

Ridley Scott mentioned that filming will begin in the next few weeks and also teased the film's story: "It’s the story of creation, the gods and the man who stood against them. It’s not a small film"
