Get ready for more magical adventures and devilish doings in Greendale, because Netflix has ordered 16 new episodes of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Multiple sources, including The Hollywood Reporter, share the news of Netflix's latest episode order for the popular witchcraft series that's set in the same world as The CW's Riverdale (with both shows having origin roots in Archie Comics).

Slated to start production in 2019, the 16 new episodes will be divided into "parts three and four" of the overall series. A premiere date for the third season has yet to be revealed, but the second season, also known as "part two" (comprised of ten episodes) will be released on April 5th on Netflix (in case you missed it, check here to watch the trailer).

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the creator of both Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale, shared his excitement in a statement shared by THR:

"Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Bros., Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch. And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina's chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka."

We'll be sure to keep Daily Dead readers updated on further announcements regarding Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
