If you see them, you're driven to the point of suicidal insanity, so don't open your eyes... no matter what you hear. Based on Josh Malerman's acclaimed 2014 novel of the same name, Bird Box is coming to Netflix on December 21st, and as a holiday gift, the streaming service has unwrapped five minutes of the movie online early, giving viewers a look at the pandemonium during the arrival of the film's enigmatic creatures.

Directed by Susanne Bier from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer (adapted from Josh Malerman's novel), Bird Box stars Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar, Danielle Macdonald, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Hollander, Colson Baker, BD Wong, Sarah Paulson, and John Malkovich.

Bird Box will be released on Netflix on December 21st, following a limited theatrical release in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and London.
