Sony Pictures is putting the pedal to the metal and bringing Edgar Wright's latest film, Baby Driver, to theaters earlier than expected this summer.
Edgar Wright announced on Twitter (see below) that Baby Driver will burn rubber on the big screen on June 28th, moving it up from its initial August 11th release.
Baby Driver recently made its well-received world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival, and you can watch the official trailer below. The film stars Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Bernthal, Eiza González, Jon Hamm, and Jamie Foxx. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more updates on the latest from Wright.
Synopsis: "A talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom."
