The found footage anthology film V/H/S will be available on VOD later this month and Magnet has released the first official photos from the film. While we have seen a couple of them used for festival screening promotion, there are some new photos and all are high-resolution versions.

If you'd like to wait and see the movie in theaters, limited screenings will be taking place in major cities across the country starting in early October. For more information on cities and dates, visit our recent coverage at: http://dailydead.com/vhs-theater-listing-and-release-dates/

V/H/S includes segments directed by Adam Wingard, Ti West, David Bruckner, Glenn McQuaid, Radio Silence, and Joe Swanberg. The film stars Joe Swanberg, Calvin Reeder, Adam Wingard, Sophia Takal, Kate Lyn Sheil, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Chad Villella, and Tyler Gillett.

Synopsis: “When a group of petty criminals is hired by a mysterious party to retrieve a rare piece of found footage from a rundown house in the middle of nowhere, they soon realize that the job isn’t going to be as easy as they thought. In the living room, a lifeless body holds court before a hub of old television sets, surrounded by stacks upon stacks of VHS tapes. As they search for the right one, they are treated to a seemingly endless number of horrifying videos, each stranger than the last."
