Earlier today we posted a Piranha 3DD poster that was released by RealD for the upcoming 3D screenings. However, the official theatrical poster has been released and we have it for you to check out, along with teaser poster/sales art we really like for Byzantium.
Byzantium Synopsis: “Eleanor and Clara, two mysterious and penniless young women, flee the scene of a violent crime and arrive in a run-down coastal resort. They try to find money and refuge along the tawdry seafront and in the dilapidated hotels.Clara, ever-practical, sells her body. She soon meets shy and lonely Noel, who provides a roof over their heads in his seedy guesthouse, Byzantium. Clara, always looking towards the future, turns it into a ‘pop-up’ brothel.
Meanwhile Eleanor, the eternal schoolgirl, meets Frank, a kindred spirit who unwittingly prompts her to tell the truth about her life. She tells him that Clara is her mother; yet Clara is only a few years older. She says that she was born in 1804; yet she is just sixteen. She confesses that she must drink human blood to stay alive – and so must her mother. In the small, quiet town, people start to die. And the past that the girls have been running from for so long, finally catches up with them – with astonishing consequences.”
Byzantium is directed by Neil Jordan and stars Saoirse Ronan, Gemma Arterton, Sam Riley, Caleb Landry Jones, Jonny Lee Miller and Danny Mays.
Piranha 3DD Synopsis: “Having awoken from their spring break extravaganza at Lake Victoria, the swarm heads upstream where they look to make a meal out of Big Wet, a local water park where when it comes to fun, nobody does it wetter! Thought they came to get wet, get loaded and get some, the staff and patrons get more than they bargained for when they must face the fiercest, most bloodthirsty piranhas yet. Lead by the strong-willed, studious Maddy and her friends, Barry and Kyle, the trio must dive in and take on these man-eating creatures using every ounce of their being…but can they be stopped?”
Piranha 3DD is directed by John Gulager (Feast) and stars Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, David Hasselhoff, Gary Busey, Katrina Bowden, Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, David Koechner, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez, and Clu Gulager. The movie will be released simultaneously on VOD and to theaters on June 1st.
