"If they hear you, they hunt you." Although they are mostly feared and alluded to rather than shown, the sound-seeking monsters in John Krasinski's A Quiet Place have left behind enough carnage in the new trailer to easily imagine how horrifying they must be for those unlucky enough to draw their attention.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world that's been ravaged by monsters attracted by any kind of noise, A Quiet Place was directed and co-written by John Krasinski, who also co-stars alongside Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds.

Paramount Pictures will release A Quiet Place in theaters on April 6th, and in March it will be the opening night movie at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas. This marks the third feature film behind the camera for Krasinski, who directed Brief Interviews with Hideous Men and The Hollars, as well as three episodes of The Office, on which he played the iconic character of Jim Halpert.
