During their ScareDiego event back in July, New Line Cinema revealed that the third Annabelle film (currently awaiting its final title) would revolve around the titular creepy doll tormenting the Warrens' daughter at their home, and now Warner Bros. has revealed an official synopsis for the new entry in James Wan's Conjuring cinematic universe.

You can read the official synopsis for the new Annabelle movie below. Written and directed by Gary Dauberman (based on a story idea from James Wan and Dauberman), the third Annabelle movie stars McKenna Grace, Madison Iseman, Katie Sarife, Patrick Wilson, and Vera Farmiga. A New Line Cinema film, the new Annabelle film will be released in theaters by Warner Bros. on July 3rd.

Synopsis: "Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends."
